Become a resident

Valrideau University Center offers a warm, family atmosphere. All residents contribute to and benefit from making Valrideau a home. We offer places to candidates who appreciate and actively contribute to the standards and family touch that have characterized Valrideau since 1989.

Registration

Registration at the residence is primarily for the entire school year (September through April).

 Applications for the winter semester (January-April), summer months (May-August), or shorter stays (less than one month) are accepted throughout the year. Please contact us to verify vacancies. 

2026-2027 rates are $1550 a month for a room with a shared bathroom - $1700 a month for a room with a private bathroom

Applications for the fall 2026 semester (September-December) will open in mid-June 2026.

What’s Included?

  • Fully furnished room (bed, desk, dresser, closet, bookshelf, with bathroom sink and vanity)

  • 2 home-cooked meals and snacks 7 days a week

  • Weekly personal laundry and ironing services + Supply of fresh linen and towels, laundered weekly

  • Networking space with wifi

  • Access to common facilities for you and your friends (e.g. group study rooms)

  • All utilities included (electricity, water, gas, heating, and shared phone line)

  • Building security system

Application Process

Applications for the fall 2026 semester (September-December) will open in mid-June 2026.

  1. Complete the application form below.

  2. Prepare the following supplementary documents:
    - A copy of your most recent school transcript
    - Proof of registration as a full-time student or acceptance offer
    - Two (2) letters of recommendation
    - One (1) passport-sized photo

  4. Acceptance at Valrideau is determined through a combination of one’s school record and personal qualifications. For this purpose, a personal interview is required.

We will accept applications as of mid-June 2026.

Registration at the residence is normally for the entire school year (September through April). Please contact us to check for vacancies for shorter terms of stay (one semester or summer)
